Workshop description: in the iconic setting of Bath’s inspiring Theatre Royal, this one day creative writing workshop focuses on the creation of a story via the learning, revisiting and practice of the key elements necessary to write a compelling piece of work.
Whether new to creative writing or a seasoned author, together we explore the ingredients we must bring together to make a story sparkle, harnessing them via comprehensive notes, group discussion, writing exercises and focused slots for writing. And it’s this immersion that clarifies our understanding of the creative process.
Workshop goal: whether working on your own idea or using one of the prompts provided, you will develop your story throughout the day, ending up with a complete piece of work.
Additional benefits for existing writers: this intensive approach can work wonders for creating ideas and plot paths forward, whilst also ironing out any plot concerns you may have.

Reviews:
“Such an exciting day which really kickstarted my writing. And so much fun!” Sarah, Oxford.
“This workshop is a game changer. It opened my eyes to everything that’s required to write a full, rich novel. I tend to procrastinate, so the intensive nature of this day really helped me. I learn best by actually doing it, rather than being in a classroom. Superb!’ Ryan, Bromley.
“I’m a beginner, so the best part for me was coming away with a check-list reminder of what I should include: plot, drama, narrative, dialogue, descriptions etc. Highly recommend this, and Dominic’s enthusiasm is infectious.” Zelda, Chislehurst
“I love the film-like pre-production work we did as a group, building our characters and plots as we went, which sparked wonderful backstories. Thank you so much, Dominic.” Deepika, Wandsworth.
