Each session, you will receive feedback from me in how to improve your technique, to ensure you improve daily and weekly. E.G., a classic example being to use less words. The word ‘that’ is a common culprit and, in most cases, can be removed without negatively-impacting the flow or meaning.

Suitability?

This package is best suited to writers with a story idea, a reasonable level of writing experience, and, ideally, a project underway that needs a fresh injection of inspiration. However, I once did this package with a beginner and it worked wonderfully, so nothing’s off the table.

How flexible are the sessions?

Very. My schedule is flexible by design and students often vary their session times each day and week. Naturally, we’ll synch diaries on a given day to match.

Are the sessions intense?

No. They are designed to be easy going, relaxed and fun, for that is when we produce our best work. My mantra is to deliver the best coaching I can in a warm, supportive and encouraging environment.

What’s the first step: that’s two fold: 1) we look into your story idea and discuss where you’d like it to go etc. 2) together, we create a daily and weekly action plan, which will constantly evolve as the project builds.

How much does this package cost?

£1,795.00 - giving unlimited coaching, brainstorming, critiquing, editorial and advice sessions.

How is the price calculated?

A first draft is usually 85,000 words. With me critiquing chapters of 3,000 words at a time, taking 1.5 hours minimum, that equates to 42 hours, plus 1-2-1 sessions etc. will equate to a minimum of fifty hours coaching. My usual hourly rate is £40 per hour, taking the total already to £2,000. Plus, there’s the planning work behind the scenes. Therefore, £1,795 equates to very good value.

How long do my credits last for? Until end of August 2026
